This is a body of work that I’ve been working on since I stumbled onto it in 1997. Although mostly Wyoming and Montana, and mostly six-man and eight-man play, I’m hoping to expand this body of work upon my retirement from teaching where I can spend more time in these communities—not just on game days. Thus far, these works have appeared in publications such as The Sun Magazine, Harper’s Magazine, Utne Reader, and Montana Quarterly. The work has also been on exhibit in several galleries including College Station (Texas), Massillon (Ohio), and Billings (Montana).
