diversification vs specialization

No, I’m not a specialist. There’s no one thing I do better than others, but there are some things that I gravitate towards—probably because I just like doing those things. Whether it’s hanging out with my two cats Eddie and Wilma, or creating a sports poster for the local college. Living in a small town of the least populated state (Wyoming), specialization isn’t something that will take you very far in life. In this part of the world, having many skills no matter what you do will likely benefit you over a narrowly-focused specialization. I think that mindset is reflected in the content of this website.

Graphic design

I assist companies and individuals in defining a clear brand identity that will carry them through their next campaign or project.

PHotography

I’ve been working with cameras since I was 12-years-old, covering many different venues and occasions.

Art

Collage and assemblage are my latest art projects. Someday I hope to have an exhibit in one or both of these areas.

Project: Small town high school football

This all started in 1997 when I attended one typical high school game in Byron, Wyoming.

Project: Drone PHotography

I was inspired by my father’s passion for aviation which married perfectly with my passion for photography.

Project: Film Photogaphy

Another project that started out innocently when I decided to purchase a film camera as digital was taking over.

We asked Morgan for a full rebranding of our restrooms stalls and urinals. We couldn’t be happier, and they’ve never seen more “business.”

E. Willis Parkes / BEI International

Tyree took care of us sled dogs—all seven of us while our humans were away for the summer. And, thanks to him our garden had its greatest yield!
